African Number Line Board

Sale Price:$5.00 Original Price:$6.00

Shown is a small sample of the artwork. A local Boston Artist, Alison DeCagna, traveled to Africa to learn the ancient resist dyeing technique from the shaman there. When she returned, she made her own art in the ancient ways. She is an Irish woman with a beautiful soul who has dedicated her life to the early education of children 2-5 yrs of age. In cooperation with an education company which uses artificial intelligence algorithms to teach people data science, an ancient number line of sorts was uncovered within the fabric and colors she used. To make this beautiful pattern affordable for children 2-5 years old, we are offering it as a placemat with the idea that edible snacks be place on the item. As children solve puzzles that teach them to count to 9, they receive the immediate satisfaction of a quick snack.. LOL. Only Alison would think of that!!

Includes 1 placemat and puzzle instructions book. A small booklet explains where Alison studied in Africa.

In these times, of racial unrest this item is a tiny bridge between disconnected realities. Please provide it to any child and tell them of its multi-cultural roots.
